So I wake up to a knock on the door at 7:15 a for the Rio Celeste tour!
It was a different company! So confused but I decided not to go.
Instead, slowly woke, had a good breakfast and planned on going back into town to get art and do a sloth tour. Unfortunately, not sure what is happening with my Verizon but the Internet likes to stop working. So I went mid town to pick up more art and WTF, couldn't get an Uber out! Ended up eating lunch at a place just to get WiFi so I can find out my options.

Sloth tour was calm but pretty good. It's just about an hour-ish walk on flat ground and you get to see the sloths hanging out, itching and feeding. Many are sleeping and no, you won't be able to find any in the canopy without a guide.
I met my cousin at La Palma while she ate and then back to Chocolate Fusion but not before we bought some art and jewelry a nearby gallery.
Chocolate Fusion:
Lemon pie
Affogato
Chai

Luckily, it started downpouring after we reached the resort. I went to the Pyramide Restaurante 20 mins before closing and got some traditional Costa Rican cuisine.
Of course, I find out the shuttle I booked thru Bookaway.com doesn't service La Fortuna with the shared shuttle (as described) and I'm finding this out late this evening. Luckily, the guy w/ the service stayed in touch with me past closing time (until 11:30 pm). While Bookaway kept running around playing games, my cousin and I decided to use old dude as a private shuttle which went from $ 55 pp shared to $80 pp private. Headache.
And then, we get another uncomfortable evening in the hotel- humid with a cold water shower.
Paradise Shuttle CR

Next Day:
Private Shuttle wasn't the cleanest but it worked. The drive only took about 2.5h and we got to the airport and checked in with no issues.
Unfortunately, once we reached Miami and their ridiculous connecting lines, our flight was delayed several times and we ended up taking off 2h later.
Overall, I'm not impressed with Costa Rica and have no intention of returning.
Definitely need to avoid 3rd party sites, especially Expedia now.
Bye Costa Rica! Back home to rest.
