Waking up again super early since the sun rises @ 6am.
But I get to enjoy a quiet stroll thru Laureles and see the barrios a little more personally. Heading to the Brunch again and then to La Tienda de los Molinos.
Le Brunch
Butter cream pancakes 4/5
Scrambled eggs 4/5
Carajulio 3/5
Walked around the neighborhood a little- I'm the absolute deficient of directions, but am realizing Laureles is pretty "dimensional".
**Main theme of Laureles with highlighted areas of shopping & top tier restaurants
Shopped at La Tienda de los Molinos mall- it's pretty big, but not many 'fashion' stores although it has the big names and fits any budget, including trinkets, older women apparel,
and even an Exito.
Uber'd over to meet Thomas from Entropika (business meeting) at 'Laundry And Brunch' where I had a nice Blueberry& Cream cheese croissant with an iced latte: I was very pleased. then headed to La Gatoria Cafe which denied me entrance (reservations are required at ALL TIMES) so all that walking for nothing. Calle 33 is mainly bars and some restaurants, but everything (at 3pm on a Sunday) is closed.
Walked to the La Calle Colina and was very disappointed. I saw one review about it but nothing more. It's a limited menu not available online and EVERYTHING is fried. I don't like fried food unless it's catfish or French fries.
Took the walk back and now retiring for the evening. Tomorrow will be time to pack after a visit back to the expat uptown neighborhood, El Poblado.
