Definitely skipped class yesterday - I needed to study alone and review PLUS I was NOT learning those indirect pronouns anymore. Just happened to come at the perfect time.

Went to La Matriarca again for brunch and took Serenity with me. I keep getting these paisas (photo above) and they just aren't for me. I am picky! But got to meet the owner Albeirto who lives and owns a restaurant in Dorado Miami too. Very nice man.
Boxing is kicking my ass doing this everyday. My index fingers are swollen and need to take aleve today - got private today and group tomorrow. Only 3 people in the class yesterday though which was cool - got to hear a little more and learn a little more Spanish instruction.
I finally finished Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the piano! As simple as it is, I'm so proud. Cut my nails so it did help. I have 2 more days left of practice so let's see.
Today, going to return to Brije for dinner after classes. It's my last day in group classes here so kind of bittersweet. I still have the other 2 weeks at another place- discover another part of Poblado.
The Feria de Flores is starting so now they locked up a few streets (including the one the school is on) from vehicular traffic. They are about ready to party! Even when I walk to school, the dumpsters are filled with glass alcohol bottles - and man they stink! Just like urine everywhere. And I bet people urinate at these cans too. It's a horrid stink.
So toilet paper - many countries, including Colombia do not have modern sewerage so you cannot throw toilet paper in the toilet. Doesn't matter what you do in there, it goes in the trash can. For safe keeping, if you do not know and don't want to ask - throw in the trash. Otherwise you will be in for a much more rude awakening , don't try it :) Here, in El Poblado, it's upgraded so you can. Cartegena, depending on where you stay, you may not be able to. Same in Bogota. I first found this out in Greece and was super confused, like, are they really asking me to do that? I had been to India before, but they don't use TP nor flushing nor toilets so yeah, it wasn't making sense. I still travel with my own TP- for excursions. You don't want to use TP off rolls and people be dropping it on the floor or they run out. Been in a lot of those situations and WHA LAH, I pull mine out! No drip dry for me!
