So of course, another sick classmate - he had to leave yesterday and said he has been sick since getting back from Mexico- I talked to him about the water and milk products there. Mexico is the only place I got SICK (pre-COVID). He has the chills, fever and stomach issues but yet, said his COVID test was negative, but you know how that goes. I think about mosquito diseases like dengue and malaria with those chills. Anyways, didn't take my own allergy meds yesterday and now my throat feels super weird. Is it COVID from him/Comuna 13 (it's been over 5 days now)/gym/other randomness? Or just that this pollution is really getting to me and I haven't been taking my meds?
Anyways, I'm not testing for COVID uselessly unless a fever or cough is continuous (although I think the cough is coming).
So I've come to this hostel cafe over here in Manila now, they do tours and such - this white Colombian keeps eyeing me. I found out after a while that he works here, maybe as a tour guide. It made me really uncomfortable. And he stays near my bags. Anyways, 3rd day and it still continues. He is behind the counter now fixing a problem one of the cashier's had. But this will have to be my last time here - he is creepy. Clean cut and all, but weird.
