New Brunch Spot

My last normal day in Laureles. Not sure what Sunday and Monday are going to bring since it's a holiday, but hopefully I get to either horseback ride or do a hike.

Wonderful Brunch after working out. So there is another neighborhood that is popular near Secondary Parque and I like it more- it's only like 6 blocks from Natibara so it's still relatively close.

There are two places there I now need to try and today, I went to Le Brunch. I need to go back there another time for their omelette and the Buttercream pancakes.

Le Brunch has a nice upstairs balcony overlooking the intersection.

Lucky me, I got caught in the rainstorm yet again with my broken, leaky umbrella. But it held up. Got to class over an hour early and studied to the point where I finally got the concepts, so much so that the other students wanted my lesson 🙂 Stopped by a local arepa place for my classic soda saborinazada (so much better when not corporate) and my chorizo Arepa relleno- which is different than the Venezuelan arepa. These are more like sandwiches than flat tortillas.

OK now time to get ready for my flight to the Amazon. Small planes scare me....
